Hi, I'm Joshna.

I’m a Data scientist and engineer with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and a Master’s in Data Science from the University of Kentucky. I’m passionate about building solutions, especially in the AI space, that efficiently address business needs of internal and external stakeholders.

In my current role, my primary focus is on demand forecasting for roughly 3,000 stores. In this project, I’ve contributed to a wide range of tasks: from evaluating third party models to maintaining the pipeline that delivers each store’s forecast from its best-performing model to reporting on the performance of the forecasts using a dashboard. I’ve also done analysis work, like identifying high-ROI zip codes for franchisee flyer drops, and built an AI agent using Google’s Agent Development Kit (ADK) that retrieves data from BigQuery and generates monthly store performance summaries to be consumed by store managers.

Previously, as an AI Engineer, I built a RAG-based question-answering tool to support users and designed the evaluation framework used to choose its final architecture. I also built a proof of concept for an MCP server, explored AI-powered code generation, and co-authored a publication on this work.
